Reflection: I really manage to make my final pieces what i planned and it implemented.

At first, i did not have any knowledge about photoshop therefore, it was really struggled to make major project. However, The more i practice photoshop and using variety of tools, i could improve my skills and the quality of my works getting better.

I will keep practice photoshop and i will try to get proficient skills for other useful programmes for instance, illustrater, CAD and 3D Fashion software.

Ultimately, I was really struggled but i really enjoyed this work while my work shown slight improvement. I want to show my work to advantage.

I made January, September and November magazine cover.
I use photoshop and canva to make final pieces.

I drew body template and designed 3piece of clothes.
and scanned it to make magazine cover.

 After that, I use photoshop to make background and crop the body template.
and also i put the body template on the background using with "Quick Selcection Tool" and "Magic Wand Tool"

 

Thirdly, I adjust colour balance and temparature of photo with curves.

Due to this work, it allowed my photos become realistic and make clothes more flattering.

And i also made some board to put in the magazine with mood images and colour bar.

Moreover, I put the text on it.



Reflecton: I could use many different kind of programmes and software and it allowed me to make

major project final pieces. In addition, while i am doing photoshop, i could use many useful tools and

also i could do lots of experiment with photoshop and canva.

I made March, June and December magazine cover.
I use photoshop and canva to process this project.

At first stage, I designed the clothes and drew body template on paper and then i scanned it
for making magazine.
after then, i cropped the body template with "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to put the background on it.

Next, i put the body template on the background to be seen real magazine cover.



 Secondly, I adjust the colour by using curves.
and because of this the whole atmosphere has really been realised and became into focus on clothes.

After this, I use canva to put the text and some information on it.

Reflection: Actually, i did not have much knowledge of photoshop and canva but while doing this
project i could get proficient photoshop skills and how to make template with canva.
I am looking foward to get more deep technique and i will practice photoshop a lot.

Her website contains good quality of photos, nice template and nice arrangement Moreover, because of design of website and photos I can see her progression route clearly. However, I think her Information page should be improve such as photos or title of each pages. Except this her website is good.

Ant(https://antdang2211.wixsite.com/graphicdesign): I like his welcoming text and back ground.

I can see his progression route obviously and he use his sequential sketchbooks as a background and this looks so nice. He has good introduction himself I could get information about him but, I think he have to put his work in it and title name and explanation of each pages. In addition, I do not know what is wrong, the contact page does not working I think there is some system error but I recommend him to find out the problems.

Aldana(https://aldanaaalobaidan.wixsite.com/mysite) : The Font of title, background and photo create a synergy effect. The background demonstrate her progression route clearly and the font of about me page makes her website more elegance and grace. However, there are no title for each pages and lack of explanation about her work. if she improve this , the website would be more nice and tidy.

Reflection: Because of this feedback, i could improve my website and i could get

information about others point of view about my website.

Moreover, Viewing other colleagues website allowed me to get inspiration.

 Q: What were your initial ideas for creating a website?
 A: I wanted to show my progression route clearly and my initial ideas was Black & White
     Simple.
 Q: Do you have a tagline on your website?
 A: No, I don't have tagline.


-RESEARCH:


 Q: Which designers / artists (relevant to your industry) websites did you look for inspiration?
 A: I visited Raf Simons website, and his websites was fancy and there are many good quality of
     images.
 Q: How many pages did you want to make on your websites and why? Did that change as you
     progressed onto the research / designing stage?
 A: I want to add one more page about inspiration page. it will give many sources of designing
     and ideas.


-CONTENT:

 Q: What is the purpose of your website?
 A: Introduce me and my work.
 Q: Who are your potential website users?
 A: Someone who studying fashion design and who has many interest in fashion.
 Q: Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website?
 A: I can show my work to people and I can get many feedbacks from them.

 Q: Which design elements / tools did you use? (eg: infographics, fixed header, static background

 A: I use doted background images to show simple and I use simple font to navigate viewer easily.

 A: I put about 12 images to introduce my self and to show my work.

Last time I was pointed out background part and too much subheading.
Therefore I put the background by photoshop and boiled the letters.

 

First, I crop the Layer 1 images with Polygonal Lasso Tool

and then copy the layer and move it to the background images.

I adjust the size by Ctrl + T and it allowed me to resize accurately.

 and then I upload the images to canva for making a magazine cover page.
after than I adjust colour and size font with canva adjust bar.

it allowed me to crop the images and also I can put a filter for images atmosphere.

Reflection: I am not familiar with photoshop so I asked to Zoya who is lecturer of digital art, how to

crop the images and how to put it into the background and she taught me.

After than, I could make it easily and It really allowed me to create better art.
