Final Work

This is my Final collection for my major project.

My theme of this collection is “Birth” which is the very
beginning of everything. Consequently, this collection
contains a life of human from birth to death. Firstly,
what I desired to do for my project is creating new
things such as purity or cleanness and this thought was
developed as the starting point of human-being, their
lives. Humans play each role for their lives. Naturally,
those roles create structures in society and this is remained
by people`s responsibilities for their duties. I
connected this natural situation to inside of the body
such as organs, cells and all the structure which make
the body health and maintain it. The fabric and silhouette
are influenced by the components of the body and
my main idea and inspiration of design came from the
protective instinct and natural phenomena.
Lastly, during this project, I was mainly focused on
thinking about a relation between the body structure
and society. Even the part of body is very small, the
role of it is crucial and humans cannot be completed
without it. And the society we live is also same in terms
of importance of the role that each person has even
though it is tiny.

Artist Statement

ARTIST STATMENT
My name is Moohyun HA. For me, Fashion is
the silent conversation where human emotions are
moved. This is my definition of fashion because I
believe that, in fashion, I can decide my own image
and show my existence. It is a big pleasure for me
to picture myself and imagine how I would be mirrored
in other’s eyes.

Most of my work is based on illustration which I
create with pen, marker, colour pencil, and water
colour. I enjoy to use Photoshop and Illustrator to
digitalize my designs.

I always inspired by Music, Human life, and
Humans who all have different mentality. Combination
of traditional and contemporary makes me
very impress and Alexander Mcqueen, who
showed Inner Dark & Beauty and Gothic is my
favorite designer. My theme is Punk and Chic
and I want to make high street fashion which
people really can wear.

I hope my friends take a look our social media and our website which includes our major project and each artwork. Moreover, I wish my friends to give me some feedbacks which to improve our social media.

We uploaded our Photo shoots on the instagram.
We uploaded our photos independently so it is more nice when people visit our feed.

I inspired by Dior's instagram post and i believe this method will bring more followers.

In the centre of all flags, UK's flag is exist because we all studying in the UK.

Feed Research

I researched some interesting structure of feeds.
In Diorhomme instagram, their were some connected images in feed.
it makes people to get impressed and more interested than just upload simple images.
After that, we decided to upload our connection images and our feed are getting better and more interesting.

Final show Discussion


Today, we discuss about what we finished and what are we going to complete how and when.


First of all, Poster design team made poster wonderfully but we had to decide the font and meaning
concept. we started to vote to decide the font and we choose script font.


Second of all, Social media team which is my team present our each social media and we discuss how to invite people to our social media. we had clear plan and action. we tried to make more hash tag option to make more followers. Moreover, we put our group name and our information on instagram.


Lastly, Website was nice and it becomes exactly what we designed before and we tried to improve our website pages for instance, About us page, Progression route page and How we going to put the "Artist Statement".


Overall, We made great plan but still need to improve lots of things.

I am Social Media team and we made each poster for Instagram, Facebook, and Snap chat.

it was difficult to decide the font because our concept is neon but unfortunately, Neon font was not exist. Therefore, i tried to make similar to Neon colour and Neon concept.

Today, we talked about branding and making a homepage.
our team was tried use "Neon" colour but it was confused because we did not decide
our slogan and logo we just decided our concept of logo.
Therefore, we use Neon concept and font.

Our group's main theme is colour and it express individuality.

We started to plan how to make our website and posters. At first it was difficult to decide our group name and how to make posters, however, we organised our idea and combine it very flexibly.
Moreover, we learned about Typography which is using "Serif", "Sans Serif", "Script" fonts and we researched  about other brands font size and weight

Today we talked about group project and final show. The final show is about exhibition of out groups work using work from your Art Portfolio projects.

Moreover, we tried to decide our roles.
It was difficult to decide because it has too many roles.
There is chairperson who organise and lead the team, admin who organise the team and ensure day, Digital design team and poster design team whose doing design template and build the virtual gallery and creating poster, curating team, social media team which promote the virtual gallery through facebook, twitter and google+ and collect feedback from visitors.

All these roles are important and i wish that our team get on well and have a good interactions each other.

Reflection: I really manage to make my final pieces what i planned and it implemented.

At first, i did not have any knowledge about photoshop therefore, it was really struggled to make major project. However, The more i practice photoshop and using variety of tools, i could improve my skills and the quality of my works getting better.

I will keep practice photoshop and i will try to get proficient skills for other useful programmes for instance, illustrater, CAD and 3D Fashion software.

Ultimately, I was really struggled but i really enjoyed this work while my work shown slight improvement. I want to show my work to advantage.
